Hey Mike, A Simple Act of Kindness is an amazing masterpiece. Writers with a Christian perspective on love are rare. You are a rare gem. Tell you what; I love a good book which will take me to another dimension. You did that perfectly well. You natured the characters to maturity, making them more real on every page turn. Anyhow, I want to add a review on Goodreads. Here is what I will post: A Masterpiece that keeps you yearning for more at every page turn. A tale of fiction meets religion. A love story made in heaven. The immortals are jealous. The mortals are in awe of the love between Jonathan and Audrey. This is not your usual boy-meets-girl romance story. This is a manual—a guide to renewing hope that true love is not an unrealizable dream. A manual every Christian should possess and pass down to their children. And in the future, when your children ask what the book means to you, tell them God had a divine plan for love. Tell them the story of true love between a man and a woman. Let Jonathan and Audrey guide them toward a love life of patience, faith, prayer, virtue, and redemption. This is the original plan for love, as intended by our creator. Walk with Michael Way as he leads you on a journey of hearts opening up to hearts, confusion, temptation, desire, angels in love, and family. You will not be disappointed. You will hang on to every page. You will curse. You will curse some more. You will want to punch some characters right in the face. You will cry—tears of joy. You will shed a tear for some intense magical moments that only a heart can comprehend. And when you close the final page, you will want to remain in that world of fiction. You will kneel and pray—a prayer directed to God to guide your heart toward finding true love.

Adelaide / Bourdeaux, FRANCE

A NOTE: Adelaide is French. Her English in the email below is English as a 2nd lanquage. The grammar is off, but the authenticity shines through. Hi Michael, I read your book ! Okay so where do i start ? I LOVED IT Even if i have some troubles liking Audrey haha.. But Jonathan ! Omg he is so sweet. And the love story ? I found Jonathan so sincere, so true with Himself, maybe that’s why i liked him so much. I often read love story with sex in it, your book didn’t need it. And this opioid story ? Heartbreaking, i love that the man is being saved by the woman. It shows vulnerability and make the reader love de relationship a little bit more. I like the idea of an angel watching our lives so we don’t miss the love of our lives. I loved this story. It was so sweet and touching, even if, i have to tell you, i find it hard sometimes to continue to read because there were many twist and turns and i waited so loooong to see them FINALLY admitting to themself they were in love, all of it « m’as gardé en haleine » (french expression to say that it kept me in suspense). Thank you for this story, it was beautiful. Adélaïde Simon

BEFORE: I read a few on the reviews on Barnes and Noble and wanted to read it. I love that the way others describe the book it is very uplifting and has shown them that there is still a lot of good in such a violent world. The way it shows vulnerability and that it is open also to learn more about heaven and earth. After reading the reviews I want to read it even more now. AFTER :Hi Mike, I have read Simple Act of Kindess and I must say It is one of the best books I have ever read. It is such a pure love story of two people in this modern life who are their selves and love with the biggest kindness. It even made me shed a little tear. I am thankful for having read it. Best regards, Julia

Hi Mike,Thanks so much! I've already got my teeth firmly into your book - I am enjoying it so much. I won't give too much away! Chat soon :)

Akporotu / GERMANY

Your book is awesome. I’m already deep into it. I’m learning, crying and cheering for true love to conquer.

Maria / PHILLIPINES

Hi! Mike,Your book is as amazing as the story is. The character of Jonathan is something that all women dreamed of in a man, how he respects, loves, and treats Audrey as a woman. My husband is not perfect but I love him the way he is, and it's true that not all you pray for will get an answer, Why? Because God’s plan is the better than yours.

Bronwyn / SOUTH AFRICA

“A Simple Act of Kindness”, written by Michael. A. Way. Sr. In this Christian romance novel, we follow Audrey and Jonathan through many obstacles as they show the reader what the purest form of love could look like. I will definitely say that this book is 100% wonderful. It had me scolding Audrey and Jonathan at times and then laughing with them in other wonderful moments.I am so glad to read this as it is the absolute truth. Mike, you are a wonderful author.Thank you very much. Will you be writing anymore in the future?

Stacy H. / USA

What a great book. The way it looked on my tablet it looks super long but it was not it was great. From the office it went by super quick I read it three or four chapters yesterday and three or four more today and now I'm sad that I don't have more to read... I'm excited about the sequel!!! More would be amazing.

Anam / IRELAND

Hey,Thanks, I am enjoying the book so far. I just started chapter 12. I really hope it’s a happy ending for Jonathon and Audrey.Hey, just started chapter 17. Claire was a tad bit serious about him and he made a right choice; otherwise he would have never met Audrey. They are the same couple who met years ago, they should know this! So many twist and turns; driving me crazy, loving this movie/book.

Mildred / KENYA

This is a book for romantics those that still believe in real love, are hoping for real love, those that are yet to find real love. It is a book for hopeless romantics who truly understand the role and need for kind, patient and just love in a society. If that is you and this is the book for you. Mike A. Way, Sr. really did well on this one.

Seemo / BOTSWANA

Hey Mike,I am very glad to be reading this book. I just started the book and I've read 14% of it already. It's a real page turner and I might finish reading it before the end of the week.I just want to ask if Audrey and Jonathan are based on you and your wife. They seem a bit too perfect and I'm just curious. If it's something you're not comfortable disclosing then I'll respect that. Do you have any desire to write a second book?

Cora / VENEZUELA

I JUST STARTED READING: I wanted to let you know, I'm already reading the book and I'll probably finish it by Wednesday - Thursday. So far I really like it, it flows very well and it keeps the story interesting. I have to say I love the detail of adding the songs so whoever wants to, can listen to them and feel more immersed (as a writer myself, I love making a specific playlist for whatever I'm writing, because I feel that songs have the power to transport you) so I think that what you did there is pretty cool! I'm definitely listening to them all. I COMPLETED READING THE NOVEL: ( Spoiler Alert, some spoilers blotted out… ) Hi Mike! I just finished the book and I wanted to tell you I loved it! It kept me engaged until the end, always wanting to know what came next, I loved all the plot twists and surprises it had, the fact that Jonathan was attacked and turned into an opioid addict shocked me, but I also felt touched by how Audrey stayed by his side and took care of him. The fact Clair and Harry ended up together was a very nice surprise at the end too! And when Audrey finally realized everything in the end I couldn't have been happier. I have to admit Audrey was my favorite character, I loved that she is a modern girl, very independent, with a successful career and with her own goals and opinions, I felt very identified with her. The story overall was fun to read, loved the fantasy scenes with Clarence and the angels, it felt very unique, as well as the fact that the main characters are 'normal' people, made everything feel super relatable. And I think the fact that is based on your own story is very sweet and touching.

Jaime / USA

An intriguing mix of “old school” values in a modern world makes for a heartwarming story that nearly any reader (avid or not) could enjoy!! Ambreen / PAKISTAN I have read this novel and liked it so much...feeling.i was actually in search of good novel , I found it.here is my opinion. A SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS BY MICHAEL, A. WAY, SR. is a page-turner with many unexpected turns and shocking revelations. I loved that the characters are realistic and grapple with their faith as they struggle to make sense of everything happening in their lives.

Sandra / ICELAND

Reading it now… This book is an incredible journey that will thrill your heart. The story is awesome. God and love conquers all. Will write you back when done.

Ella / UNITED KINGDOM

Dear Michael, I've finally finished your book! Wow! I absolutely loved it. Admittedly, I've been slacking since i've been away travelling but this has shown me - or reminded me! - how much I love to read. Thank you for this great novel. Below is the review I’m leaving on GOODREADS: A Simple Act of Kindness – Michael Way A Simple Act of Kindness took me on a journey of self-discovery and made me question my own atheist beliefs. As an avid reader and ex-teacher I have read a plethora of romantic novels yet the impact this novel had on me was completely different. The protagonists’ story of a pure love and a genuine relationship (I loved how Way portrayed this in a realistic way, sometimes they can be frustrating and turbulent!) captivated me from the very first chapter. I was inspired by Way’s characterisation of Audrey, a reserved woman who does not necessarily need nor completely rely on a partner to create her happiness. In modern literature, a woman who does not pine after men and is confident in her own self- worth is difficult to come by. Yet Audrey acts as a role model to all young audiences, someone they should aspire to be like with good morals. Likewise, Johnathon’s ability to defy societal pressures and remain resilient will resonate with many and teaches an important lesson. My favourite, tear-jerking line has to be:The promise of seeing you again was enough to save me from my torment”. The novel has taught me to be more open to Christian literature and not so dismissive. My partner commented on how engrossed I was with the story; I couldn’t put the book down! I would recommend this read to anyone. Both believers and non- believers alike because it will teach the readership the importance of self-respect and fighting for what you believe in. Thank you Michael! I look forward to reading the sequel...

Hey mike. Just checking in to say loving the book—I’ll be finishing it this weekend and hit you back to tell you what I think. Hi Mike! I hope you are doing well. Finished the book and loved the sweet ending. It's nice to read something happy. This is the first paragraph of the review I am leaving on amazon, GR & BN. A Simple Act of Kindness is “old-fashioned in a new package”. Without spoiling too much, the plot is something really unique. If you enjoy fantasy rooted in reality, similar to C.S. Lewis, you can appreciate this book. It’s a beautiful story about real-life angels and God’s ability to conquer all obstacles.

Kessihana / JAMAICA

Good Day Mike, I have completed reading the book. I have thoroughly enjoyed this unique novel. i can’t wait to write back to you to tell you how it affected me; Wow! Regards,

The novel is a bit preachy but holds the reader's interest and includes a special unseen element that we all wonder about and often overlook--the unseen hand of God at work in our lives.

Sandra / ICELAND

Thank you so much for this wonderful story. It is so beautifully written. I really like that style and could empathize really with the lovable characters, Audrey and Jonathan. A beautiful story about true love and faith. Listening to the music mentioned is a super tip. Thanks again for writing this beautiful story for the world to read.

Renee / USA

A Simple Act of Kindness is a story that will leave you with a renewed hope in humanity. While I was a bit reluctant and unsure of how I’d enjoy a Christian romance, I didn’t feel as though the author was trying to push his beliefs down my throat, making the story that much more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a beautiful, heartfelt love story, A Simple Act of Kindness is one you won’t want to pass up.

Maria / Argentina

I love romance, so I was super excited to read the book “A Simple Act of Kindness.” But now, after finishing the book, I can confidently say it was one of the best books I have read in the past few years! I loved the writing style of this book the most, as the story was filled with so many heart-stopping and heart warming moments. Learning about all the characters and following their journey and growth was a pleasure. It’s a Christian romance, but the author’s take on this genre is something I felt I had not read before. I am excited to see what the author comes up with next, as this book has grabbed my attention and heart. Highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to dive deeper into the genre of Christian romance! (full review on Goodreads)

A must-read for all the hopeless romantics out there! A Simple Act of Kindness” reminds me of the love that my parents talk about, the kind that I believe everyone of us yearns to be immersed in. Overall, the book clearly differentiated itself from the run-of-the mill romance novel. It manages to keep the reader intrigued with its detailed scenes and sweet portrayal of first love. The book is a clear reminder that God loves us all, and always has something in store for us. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple yet meaningful reading.! Hello again Mike, I'm all done, a bit faster than I expected, but as I said earlier, I'm hooked and found myself multitasking while reading A Simple Act of Kindness. I honestly enjoyed it; the fact that it's old-school love happening in this modern society, it's sort of a breakthrough of the impossible being possible decades later. Not forgetting the touch of religion, I liked how there wasn't too much of it (it becomes boring); it is just AMAZING! The book honestly stopped being a casual read for me when I got to chapter two. I loved immersing my hours in this beautiful creation. And I'm not gassing you; it's my honest opinion.Thank you for writing this fantastic book of God and love. .
